The detail recalls the streamlined antennae, soaring spires and orbiting forms that defined Atomic Age design, when the future was imagined with a little more flair.

The two sides fit neatly together beneath the central ring detail and are held securely in place by a concealed magnet, keeping the connection itself out of sight and letting the hardware take center stage.
